Mr. Reyes has over 25 years of experience in management, leasing, construction, and allied accounting for portfolios of office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Corpus Christi. As President, Wayne’s responsibilities include evaluating and implementing pro forma performance, meeting target leasing goals, and overseeing the Property Management and Leasing Operations for all owned and Third Party properties throughout the country. Wayne´s career involvement in the commercial real estate market includes having twice served as President of the Houston Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management, IREM. He holds a Texas Real Estate Broker´s License and the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM®). He attended Texas State University.

Steven Speier was a Partner in Squar Milner’s Bankruptcy and Litigation practice. He has been appointed as a California State Court Receiver in over one hundred cases including office buildings, retail centers, condominium and apartment complexes, hotels/motels, industrial parks, restaurants and residential properties. Mr. Speier has served as a Bankruptcy Trustee, Expert Witness, Provisional Director, Examiner, Responsible Person, Assignee, Disbursing Agent, Real Estate Broker, Referee and Judicial Receiver. He has over thirty years experience in business serving as a Chief Executive Officer and/or Director of numerous companies. His background encompasses diverse experience in several industries including real estate, public accounting and banking. He has served as the General Partner or on the Board of Directors of companies controlling and managing numerous limited partnerships consisting of approximately 15,000 investors.
Vice President Asset Manager - Self Storage
As Vice President, Mr. Gaskell has overall responsibility for all functions of the self storage portfolio, including the administration of the ownership entities, oversite of the operational functions, investor relations, and long-term planning for the optimum profitability of the properties. Kimbrough has over thirty years of real estate experience including the development, leasing and management of various commercial properties. Having focused on the development and operation of storage facilities nationwide for the past several decades, he brings unique experience to the portfolio of American Spectrum Management Group. Mr. Gaskell is a graduate of The University of Texas-Austin with a Bachelors degree in Finance/Real Estate, and a graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Law. A licensed Attorney at Law and Real Estate Broker in Texas, he is also a designated Certified Property Manager.
Asset Manager – Commercial

Bill joined American Spectrum in 2007 to direct the management of a portfolio of 29 properties totaling approximately 2 million square feet of office, retail and industrial assets. Bill has over 30 years experience in the commercial real estate industry including third party portfolio management of assets of one of the nation’s largest banks, asset management of a complex of three high-rise office buildings and two retail center for one of the largest developers in Texas and REO Department Head and Director of Leasing for a third party asset management group specializing in bank owned properties. Bill received his B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker.
American Spectrum Risk & Insurance Services, LLC
Mr. Thornton joined American Spectrum in 2009 as a risk asset manager focusing on managing a portfolio consisting of over 80 assets. He was promoted to Vice President of the Risk Management Department in 2010 overseeing all insurance related issues for the corporate entity (AQQ), its subsidiaries and all of the owned and managed assets across the United States. In addition, he is responsible for identifying, developing and promoting additional revenue streams throughout the American Spectrum property portfolio. In January 2012, Mr. Thornton was promoted to President of American Spectrum Risk and Insurance Services, LLC. Mr. Thornton has over 15 years experience in strategic planning, business development and insurance related activities. He holds an insurance broker/producer’s license in 20 states and currently manages over a billion dollars in assets.
